Working in inside sales, I’m primarily involved in quoting, outside sales support, customer service, order follow-up, and order tracking.

The thing I like most about working at Great Lakes Pump is that communication between all levels is great. Teamwork is the main approach; everyone is supportive of each other.

I’ve spent most of my career in inside sales for industrial products and have gained experience in a wide range of equipment and environments. To name a few, I’ve been involved in oil and gas metering pump + level control applications, set-up of explosion-proof panels, tank site and pressure gauges, liquid metering pumps, flow switches, fire detection/suppression systems, safety mats, and alarm systems.

Unique Experiences

Seeing their applications and projects gives me a deeper understanding of their pump and process products needs.  Understanding their set-ups and assisting outside sales with the customer’s questions, concerns and any issues regarding performance, maintenance, and replacement parts is the most rewarding part of my job.

One of the most interesting visits I made was traveling to Germany for training to learn about anti-pitch devices for lift-gates in SUVs
